You need to have a minimum balance in your bank account. Depending on what country you are from, this could be anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000. This money will be considered maintenance funds to help cover your expenses while you are there.
You cannot be the parent or guardian of any child below the age of 18. Similarly, you cannot be financially responsible for anybody under the age of 18 when you apply. Otherwise, your application will be rejected.
You also cannot have had a UK Tier 5 visa in the past. It is a single-use only visa that lasts for a maximum of two years.
