Safest way to find magic mushrooms

Since long before the beginning of recorded history, magic mushrooms have been used by traditional people, especially by shamans, medicine men or witch doctors. These native healers make contact with the spirit world by various means, including drumming, chanting, sweat lodges, fasting, and consuming hallucinogenic substances such as magic mushrooms. One of these magical fungi is the fly agaric mushroom, known by its scientific name as Amanita muscaria. If you have ever seen illustrations in children’s books of fairies sitting on red and white spotted mushrooms, you know what an Amanica muscaria looks like.

Of course, anyone who is interested in looking further into these mushrooms should be warned that they can be toxic to the point of being extremely poisonous. Especially upsetting is the fact that different kinds of mushrooms may look similar but have very different degrees of toxicity. Therefore, it is advised that all mushrooms found in the wild be treated with a high level of respecti.

Back when mankind were hunter gatherers living in tribes, we were more knowledgable about naturally occuring fungi such as mushrooms. In this modern age, however, we have lost touch with nature and its spirituality. That is why, unless you are a scientist who studies mushrooms, or a serious amateur mycologist, you are most likely not at all well equipped to be able to tell a genuine Amanita muscaria mushrooms from one of the other fungi that look like it out in the woods.

For advice on the safest way to find Amanita muscaria mushrooms, check out the the Amanita muscaria report website at amanitamuscariareport.com.
