Can You Lose Weight With Sensa?
It’s one of the newest on the scene. Sensa is now seen on late night infomercials across the country and has popularity mainly due to it’s slick marketing campaign, and use by the lady in the show “Millionaire Match Maker” Patti Stanger. Apparently she lost a bunch of weight with it and is now recommending it to everyone she knows… whooppeee! Are you going to buy Sensa or not? This article might help you decide.
Sensa is also getting attention for another reason: It’s a little bit different. For those of you wondering, it’s not a pill, it’s not a diet, it’s not an exercise routine, and it’s not a super food…
What is it?
Basically it’s a little powder, that you “sprinkle” on to your meals before you eat them. You eat the sprinkles with your meal and it affects the way your body digests the food. You strip off weight really quickly, and everyone’s happy. But does it really work like that? Can we trust the things it says?
Firstly there are some major caveats. Of course, you need to make certain diet alterations, which Sensa doesn’t make clear until you have actually purchased the product. Obviously you’re not going to be able to sprinkle Sensa on your donuts and have it make any noticeable difference (except making your donut taste like crap). Secondly, HOW Sensa magically makes any old food healthy is also a bit of a mystery. Let’s look at what some Sensa reviews say.
Apparently Sensa doesn’t have an effect on your stomach, but on your brain. It’s supposed to stimulate your “satiety” center, to make you think you’re full, sooner than you actually are. Consequently you eat less and as long as you maintain the same level of exercise or more, you lose weight. This being the case, maybe you can sprinkle it on your donuts.
Big celebrities are endorsing Sensa, which tends to make me skeptical, but apparently the results are really significant. Apparently, and I take this one with a grain of salt – the average weight loss of a committed Sensa user is 30lbs. That’s the average. In other words if you use it religiously AND say (uh oh) increase your level of exercise, there’s no reason why you couldn’t lose significantly more.
Hopefully this is all making you think (and maybe making you less hungry just by talking about it), and if so, I’m glad. Sensa is one to watch as I’m sure we’ll see it grow in popularity in the coming year.
